She had a positive expression on her face. She had the beauty and elegance of her attitude and of her nation. I wrote this poem for her and her land, Japan, while I was watching the rain in a Shanghai afternoon. One day I will visit Japan to see the culture where her elegance is rooted. No one should ignore their role for their land. A person can make us curious about their all culture and history.

JAPANESE LADY

JAPANESE LADY

The Japanese lady,
Is she a fairy?

Does she smile to mirrors, too?
Her serenity can calm outrages,
with magic enriched by ages.
Any man receiving hope from her eyes?
What is special about the cloud in her heart?
The color or the size?

The Japanese lady…
Is she a fairy?

Do her hands touch the flowers in the garden of souls?
Her beauty is more than just beauty,
it can be seen behind walls.

The word beauty cannot clarify…
what she has on her face.
She was sculpted out of the moon
with the heritage of her entire race.
So she will not fade soon.

What is it like to be so close to souls?
Is it a rare gift?
to make people drift
after such a dream?
It is so enchanting to feel close…
to the Japanese lady?
Is she a fairy?

This poem is not an invitation
to exchange.or to dance
It is a summery of an ancient story
It is as calm as Fuji
There is no need to defense
We are not Two Dragons in the Clouds
She is the one that makes sense.

The Japanese Lady…
Is she a fairy?
